Took delivery on May 17 and the power tonneau cover was installed on Nov 4.

So, I just got an estimated install date of December 6th back. Let's see if it holds true - it would be great to have it prior to traveling for the holidays.
Looks like the squeaky wheel gets the grease.
Let's keep on reporting in though. I'm really interested to hear how this is playing out for folks...
The service request for the PTC was already initiated when I took delivery. After that I just sat back and waited. I was bumped back twice but the 3rd time was the charm. For those who have already had it installed - did you have to initiate the replacement, or did Rivian reach out to you to schedule it?
Yes, same with my case. You need to open the ticket to get on their radar. There may be some minor fixes you need done, and you just stack them on the ticket. If i did not submit the service request, I don't think I would get anywhere with the PTC.
Did you book for a service appointment or just asking questions about ptc?Update on my end:
Rivian closed the service request without any additional update after no update all week. I've logged another request to follow up on the first, but I fear I might be back to square one ... again.
This is frustrating.
They asked to confirm a date. I responded with that date was fine and it never got scheduled. Subsequent follow-ups (via text) bounced as there is no active request.Did you book for a service appointment or just asking questions about ptc?
