Interesting, but my guess is that the load has to be beyond the designated limit. With a spare and underbody shield my sticker shows:

Hopefully, you won't have any issues that might impact warranty. For myself, I'll borrow my neighbor's utility trailer if I need to haul that much weight. The truck's towing capacity would not be an issue.
