Interestingly, their U.S. website doesn't acknowledge the GV60 exists...

Also for what is worth I stopped at the Kia Dealership in Gresham OR today. They had 6-10 of them (EV6 models) right up front and also a 1st edition in the showroom. It is a nice looking car, really liked the suede seats in one of them I looked at. Doesn‘t really feel like an SUV to me also the ‘frunk’ is a joke. They also had an 8k markup on the window sticker but the guy I talked to said they would take offers… lol

Gotta be honest, I went down the rabbit hole and looked at my local dealer inventories. I was planning on stopping by one yesterday, but then I saw the frunk. Hard-stop.

I saw an EV6 today.. really like the looks. Very much a head turner and while it's an out there design it works better than most. Slick car.

Thanks it’s a matte gray, so I’ll have to learn how to wash it properly. However I want to think it’s worth the sacrifice because it looks so cool! Here’s some more pictures of it!

Congrats, does look cool. Spoke to some dealers, they are asking for a 20k over sticker . Wanted to get one until I get my R1S probably in 2024.

Yeah it’s ridiculous what some of the dealers are doing, Kia sent out a corporate letter to all the dealers that they are not allowed to charge over MSRP for the first edition so I got lucky.

The dealership I want in yesterday had two 1st edition models on their lot and both had the same $8k markups on the window sticker as the other non 1st edition models. Sounds like I might be able to get one for $3k markup based on some research.

Maybe you should show this to some of those dealers, this is the letter that they sent out warning dealers not to do that, I personally wouldn’t pay any ADM, because I don’t think they deserve it:

It reads like that is guidance is for people who pre-ordered 1st edition models. These cars are available for sale on a local lot so I guess that is how they are getting away with it.

Yeah that could be right, it’s still kind of BS. My Dealer told me that if I wouldn’t have taken the order they would have sent it to another dealer that was allocated it because they’re not allowed to sell it over MSRP. I think they’re breaking the rules here,

You can try reaching out to that dealer that I link to, he will sell you a Kia EV6 at MSRP! He’s very popular on that forum for that! He quoted me one early on for MSRP, and said he would ship it to me for $600 from his location, or I could come pick it up for free. So it may be worth it if you’re talking about paying a markup that much

Ok, so I just called a Dealer in Phoenix that has a First Edition in stock, he said it was $10K above MSRP and any other EV6 they have on the lot is at $7,000 above MSRP. When you compere the ev6 to a Rivian R1S Launch Edition at those prices I will take the Rivian any day of the week. And they say that the dealership model protects the Customer??

I know there is a FE EV6 on the ground at Urbana IL that the reservation holder turned down. Not Sure on Market adjustment but they did sell me mine at MSRP with no add on I was the original reservation holder Ask for Taylor Black
