I have an R1s Gen 2 using an iPhone 13 pro (updated) on Spectrum network in Los Angeles. Every phone call I take in the vehicle through infotainment, every minute or so, I get about 5 seconds of loss where it sounds like the person is a robot going through a washing machine. Is anyone else running into this issue and has figured out a solution?

I don’t see this but every single time the ring tone before someone answers starts out muffled.

I just realized...I'm not sure if I've ever made a call in the Rivian. So you're saying these little internet terminals in our pockets can also make phone calls?

Do you play media from the phone? If not, try it, and see if it does the same. To narrow it down to a possible bluetooth issue.

I was looking for a post like this. My parents live in the Netherlands, so I call them through messenger as it saves on long distance fees.

If I call outside of the car (iPhone 15 Pro, T-Mobile) I have zero issues, however in the car there are periods of interrupted sound, which occur when I call them, but also when they call me.

When I switch the audio from car to phone output, the sound returns to normal, so there appears to be a link with the Rivian audio.

@SwampNut Bluetooth audio (music/ podcasts) works flawlessly.
