I’m not much of an authority on the topic, but my friends who travel all over skiing think VT is pretty great. I just couldn’t miss an opportunity to take a shot at PA skiing :)
Hey, we have great skiing in PA…

Heading up to ski Whiteface next week and was planning on hitting both those RAN chargers. Hopefully some good snow up there hasn't been the last few years.

A long time ago I moved from PA to Mississippi the week before New Year's Day. When I showed up at the mill in January a bunch of folks were talking about skiing and I was astounded! I asked: "Where do you ski around here? There aren't any mountains and there's certainly no snow."

I got a typical southern response: "Yankee...There's skiing and there's snow skiing. Around here we ski. Learn the difference."

Thanks for the info. These was part of my regular trips (with Sunapee added) when I lived in NYC. Lebanon was a great addition. Now hoping for a new RAN or two in mid/southen NH that I am in MA. Trips to Sunapee are still through mostly limited fast charging areas (other than Manchester mall area).
I agree that having a RAN somewhere in southern NH or down Route 3 near the Lowell area would be nice. I live near exit four off 89 in VT and go to Boston monthly for work. There's excellent charging at the Rockingham Park Telsa Supercharger in Salem, NH, and the Tesla Supercharger in Manchester, NH. There are Starbucks near each of them. There are also EA chargers at the Mall of NH in Manchester that I try to avoid, but the ones at Rockingham Park have worked fine for me in the past. I've also had good luck with the EA chargers at Merrimack Premium Outlets. It'd be sweet if the Tesla Superchargers at the Common Man rest areas were updated to work with other vehicles. They're always 80% empty.

Yeah, access to the Tesla chargers make a big difference compared to last year. (updating the others would be great). The fast chargers at the Mall of NH were pretty crowded.
Selfishly, I want one out by Sunapee.

Just making another post to give positive affirmations that these things are great for road trips. Smooth, comfortable, and gobbles gear!

Btw, Lebanon has a good soup dumplings spot in the strip mall.
Thanks for the positive post - and the info about Happy Dumpling! I drive from Boston area up 89 to Eastern Adirondacks regularly and stop at the RAN, I’ll try some dumplings next time.

Would love to see a RAN go up in Concord, NH or Lincoln, NH.

The Superchargers on I-89 are nearly all V2 so getting the West Leb RAN last year was key. I’d like a RAN on I-93 to get to Bretton Woods but at least most of the superchargers on that route are V3. A RAN or V3 Supercharger update at the Hooksett Common Man/State Liquor Store service area or in Lincoln would be nice.

And I agree on Sunapee - a couple years ago when Tesla requested location ideas I submitted Warner NH, by the State Liquor Store and Market Basket. No luck yet.

Thanks. I may give the Chargepoint in Claremont, NH 03743 a try this winter depending how low my battery gets. It's quite a bit closer than Lebnon or Concord. If so, will report back.

Last year I did a Sunapee day trip in our Model Y. We stopped briefly at the Hooksett supercharger on the way early, mainly to get coffee and apple cider donuts. I can’t remember if we charged on the way back to Boston - if so it was primarily to use the Hooksett facilities. I’ve gone up and back in the Y without charging. The R1S is a different story.

Yep (it was a little easier, and cramped, in our model 3). Getting there and back not much of a problem. We stay for 3-5 days at a time and need a charge during that time (without a charger overnight). But there's progress - just hope it doesn't slow down.
