This is great news. I'm still waiting for the EA station in Egg Harbor township to come online.

It's very odd. If you type the address in to Google Maps and then switch to satellite view, the spot where the Walmart should be just looks like an abandoned building/map, shopping complex.

I wish they'd get one (or more) down here in SIC! There are 3 ChargePoints down in AV, but you have to be lucky to get one. I've noticed more and more PHEV's using them too, which is annoying!

Another Rivian Forum member told me today that the Egg Harbor Walmart EA station appears complete but all of the chargers are dark and perhaps waiting to be brought online... Nothing surprises me with EA, such lackluster performance, reliability and marginal customer service.

While I understand your frustration with EA, as an electrical contractor who's been involved in a few DCFC installations, most of the time the holdups are with the inspection processes with the state/township/municipality/third-party inspectors. Another big thing could be supply chain related shortages.

I've had vendors tell me a transformer I need to order is 40-50 weeks away or longer.

used to be stock items. Now they have 4 month lead times.

There is a lot more to the installation of a DCFC than just the power cabinets and dispensers.

Without being the one installing it, I have no idea what the holdup is. But it could be any number of things, which could be completely out of control of EA.
