All good.....probably just me taking posts too literally at face value. Not sure how i missed it, but i don't really follow GM all that closely either.
Fair point and I didn't realize that happened. Her Suburban is a 2024.
And just to defend myself.....your statement did not specify "NEW" GM ICE vehicles don't come with CP.
This is not true. My wife's Suburban has both CP and AA. And for what it's worth, I find the interface for both frustrating at best. I can understand the concerns for the offline music and ability to use other apps on your phone, but I, personally, don't have those issues and i much prefer...
kind of boring route and a ton of traffic that time of day! Would be nice to take a quick run down 202 a bit. What’s the saying Better to ask for forgiveness than permission? 😆
That must have been you I saw! I was on my way home from work and saw an r2 turning left near the kop town center. Looked great in person even passing by at 45mph.
Your comment about it being "quieter, better composed, and all purpose accelerating harder", is that compared to your Gen 1 T, Gen 2 S, both, or something else? Or compared to your expectations?
I realize YMMV, but does anyone have a sense of, once you start hearing the tocking, how long the half-shafts will last until complete failure? Is it certainty they will fail?
I'm in the same boat but with my R1T. Current registration expires June 30th and the RUC, if I'm reading it correctly, is due within 30 days of registration issuance. I'm hoping I have some insight on R2 timing before I have to renew!
Haha! Yes true first world problems. Thank you for the info! I saw that one as well but it wasn’t clear to me you could use the J1772 plug as well. Appreciate the help!
Thanks! I’m not electrically inclined. Do you know of anyone that makes a combined J1772 and CCS to MACS adapter. Or is that not possible? Do I just have to have two adapters?
Anyone know if Rivian will be providing or offering a J1772/CCS to NACS adapter? When I first bought my R1 I also got the Rivian wall charger. I would like to not have to get another wall charger for my pending R2.
I know what the air compressor sounds like and this is not that. And I should have also mentioned that while sitting in the parking lot, i did turn the HVAC off completely and the noise stopped. Hence my suspicion it's coming from HVAC.
At least in my case, I can confirm the suspension is not adjusting. I was sitting still in a parking lot for 15 minutes and the noise occurred multiple times and there was no suspension movement. The heat was set to auto and I was not adjusting that either. There was no HVAC fan adjustment...
