Now that there are actual R1T's out there, has anyone seen anything like a bed extender as an option. I had one on a Honda Ridgeline. There were times when it was very helpful...making the short bed longer with using the tailgate down. Something from Rivian would be nice...concerned about the cameras, etc.

I had a bed extender on a Nissan Frontier. It did help make the smaller bed more practical. Nissan had tracks that the extender could slide along, so I could stow it against the cab, too. Rivian doesn't have tracks, afaik, so maybe they could make an extender that folds and can be stowed in the gear tunnel?

I just use straps even the things in the bed of this shot I would just drop the tail gate and strap them down.

I’d make something that clicks into the latches for the tailgate, then onto the catches on the tailgate. Foldable of course.

My F150 came with a bed extender from the factory. The sides are curved, like the one shown above. This makes it impractical for extending the 6.5’ bed for hauling sheet goods. The extender does work well for moving furniture, plants, and anything not 4’ wide.

Pffft... just stack it higher or sling it over the side.

That would be the R0T....as in Zero....

That fortune was made on oil. This next one will come from electricty.

Great! Now I've got a new earworm running through my head!

(I'm guessing few people under 40 know, or remember much about the Beverly Hillbillies?)
