Today is day 6 of my Rivian ownership journey!
I’ve been a fan of Rivian for a while now but until about a month and a half ago I wasn’t planning to purchase one. The primary reason being the autonomy abilities. I’ve owned a Tesla model Y and model 3 and the FSD has become so good it was difficult to imagine life without it. Once I made the decision to try out a Rivian by way of an R2 demo drive, it became clear to me that I *could* live without FSD. These vehicles are just so good! I immediately put in a reservation for an R2 and began my search for an R1T. When I found mine (a 2023 quad) I fell in love. I traded in the Y for it and will trade the 3 in when the R2 shows up toward the end of the year. I do still miss the FSD but I’m super happy with my decision to switch.
