So they pulled all the model year 2023s because they are garbage but don't worry because here's a new model for them to make that will totally not be garbage.

My favorite aspect of the XLT trim was actually the slightly smaller screen with horizontal orientation that allowed for physical, old school climate control buttons. But $70,000 for cloth seats, no sunroof, and many other comfort features lacking? Nope, not even close to being appealing.

The interior quality of the Rivian done gone and made me soft.

I think you're misrepresenting the facts. Per Ford, "[they] have canceled some dealer stock orders not submitted as pre-sold."

Edit: Also, it's the end of the model year for the Lightning and they typically switch model years in October-November.

I have a MY22 and it has been a great truck. We'll probably be switching to a Max pack just because we need more range. We'd gladly stick with the Lightning if it had 400 miles of range.
