im a 2/23 R1T build so no idea if i have the old or new compressor but what i do know is the air compressor in the bed is not accurate. i set it to 49psi inflated all my tires. 3 of the wheels came out to 48psi and 1 wheel came out to 54psi. at least if all 4 had been 48 that would make more sense.
Was the 54 psi tire the 1st one you filled up?

Someone else pointed this out to me, when you set the numbers, they need to be blinking when you hit start or it's just running as a compressor and won't kick off automatically... I have yet to verify this, but it matches with my experiences so far...
Perhaps your last wheel wasn't set to auto-off when you inflated?

ill try it again but the one tire that hit 54psi was the 3rd of 4 tires that i inflated and pretty sure the number was set before i started inflating.

Yeah, IIRC it's something about making sure it's still blinking before you start. Not necessarily that the correct PSI is listed... but again, I haven't verified that data yet. (my tires are at 51 because of this particular issue, I'm just too lazy to correct it at the moment)
