Just want to start off by saying that I absolutely love the truck - best/favorite car I’ve ever owned.

However, turns out that my front air suspension needs to be replaced… car only has about 2500 miles. Doesn’t make me too comfortable with using kneel mode all the time… anybody else experiencing an issue like this?

I’ve only seen a few instances of it. And it’s typically a leaking damper or connection. Usually not a major failure.

Gotcha. My service notes are specifically “remove and replace air suspension”

Yeah it’s just a generalized quote.

Mine’s in the shop right now and it says “Remove and Replace Hydraulic Suspension” but it’s just so they can grease the axle bolt for the tocking sound.

Ah gotcha. Fingers crossed it’s nothing bad then. Thanks!

Mine said that, it was a damper replacement on the driver's side.

Just ask your SC rep. They're super friendly and know the cars are everyone's baby right now. They'll tell ya exactly what's going on. I'd not the Guide can do.

If it really says “hydraulic” I’d be concerned.

pneu = breath
hydro = water

Most hyraulic shocks and lifts use an oil based liquid for heat management and viscosity.

I’m not worried. I’ll just make sure they inspect and replace the fuel filter and injectors while there in there.
