10%? Isn’t it more like 1.5-1.8%…thinking 10,000 R1Ts have been delivered…conservatively.Just my two cents. It’s also the fact that some pre march reservation holders are willing to take less $ home because they just want to get rid of the truck and only took it in to make some quick money. If you look on auto trader there’s over 180 for sale. That’s more than 10% of the total deliveries. Cars and Bids had one sell for $86k and a few more for $90k well below current msrp for the vehicle. The Ford lightning won’t take as much of a hit because there wasn’t that big of a price increase since initial msrp and resellers won’t be willing to take a huge loss, whereas R1T launch editions picked up for 75k won’t mind selling for $85k. Post march delivery values are going to see a steep hit. Like the old days of buying expensive cars.
Bingo. I’m seeing a lot less for my trade than I expected even in the past week. Not Rivian specific.... It's the market.
