I think Rivian has this in the bag, of course I’m not exactly unbiased ?

Or the Ford Maverick. Seriously... It's an amazing little truck that does almost everything right. At least for those who need a little truck. If they would have offered the 2.5L + hybrid drivetrain with 4WD/AWD, I would have ordered one. That's their only true miss with this one.

I will say, I wouldn’t be surprised if the Ford Maverick won either. It’s a fantastic value for an efficient, little truck that meets most peoples needs. At the very least I think Rivian would be a runner-up

Yep... I think it comes down to if they're going to go with the very capable, very expensive, first generally available EV pickup. Or will they go with the Ford's little truck that can do an awful lot at a price point most anyone can afford? Hmmm...

I'm rooting for the R1T. I think it's the best fit for TOTY. Hummer is a niche market behemoth and the Maverick, while great, doesn't break new ground. It simply takes much of what Ford does best and delivers it in a smaller package.
