I agree. The $80k version will be 320 miles of range. EPA. Whoop tee do.

Maybe they will shock us all, but I expect the 440 mile range version will be $120k.
And, the $80K R1S is rated for only 260 miles.

And the Model X for roughly the same price (yet only 5 seats) is 333 miles on the Elon scale. 286 at 70 mph.

Forgot about that.

Rivian has the least range at $80K.

Highway range is a different animal, and that is really what I care about. At 80 mph, battery and drive trian efficiency become almost noise, IMO. Aerodynamics are king at 80 mph. Of course the Gravity is more aerodynamic, but how much more? It's still a big vehicle. I think it is possible it can achieve 3 mi/kWh at 80 mph. It's possible. Likely? Probably not. I bet more like 2.6 or maybe 2.8.

With a 120 kWh pack, you can figure out the highway range at 80. Compare it to the R1S. I think the R1S will go just as far. (Max Pack, of course.)

For me, I would not look at this to replace the R1S but would take a serious look to replace our Model S, especially if you can realistically get over 350 miles on the road.
same. Can’t wait to get rid of our Model S

Dang, that's a good looking crossover. Lucid seriously screwed up by not offering this first.
Except for off road ability, this will be a serious competitor to the R1S. Based on what I'm seeing here, I'd buy the Lucid over the R1S. The biggest challenge to me buying one is whether or not I think Lucid can survive.

Getting Toyota Sienna vibes…
Good photo find! Tots hilarious. I was thinking boring mini van when I first saw the images of the Gravity, but didn’t realize how similar it was until I saw your post. 😂🤣😁

I wish companies would stop overusing the SUV category, because this isn't an SUV. Neither is a Model Y or Model X. An SUV takes you off-road and this definitely does not do that. You can't put a 3rd row in a vehicle and instantly call it an SUV.

I disagree it’s a zero sum game. More alternatives in the large size EV market will attract more buyers, and each can get more customers. Bigger pie, bigger slices for everyone
I mostly agree with you, except there is a pretty limited number of pastry lovers who can fork over $80-120k for a slice.
