IIHS crash test R1T take off parts available for purchase

If anyone is looking for parts for their R1T, the IIHS crash test ones are available for parting out in Central Virginia. Apparently there are 5 R1Ts. The wheels/tires are available for $3500.

That's expensive for the wheels and tires. You can get them from Rivian brand new for not much more for those 21's. Maybe the AT's or the 22's they have.

I’m sure they are open to negotiation being a salvage yard. Because I agree, too expensive.

I was a big dumb dumb and got interested in a second keyfob before I realized they are T/S-specific. Rivian service confirmed that you can take another keyfob and pair it with a new vehicle to have two keyfobs to one vehicle. The guy answering the email said the keyfobs are $150 each.

Am I just thick in the head or does Rivian not show up on the drop down selection for vehicle on their website? Couldnt find anything on their site.

I am just down the road from them in charlottesville and may try to check it out tomorrow. They have a pretty good rep around here and get most of the IIHS vehicles post crash. If i remember right, they have to bid on the vehicles as a lot so I am sure there is math involved with what they charge to let you carry away a part or tire.
