Hitch Mounted Bed Extender - Will it Clear the Tailgate?

I have a RAM 1500 with a 5'7" bed and I have a kayak I take out for fishing. To do that, I put the kayak in the bed with the tailgate down, and use a hitch mounted bed extender. With the gooseneck style of the R1T tailgate, it seems those traditional hitch mounted extenders may not fit. Any idea on the clearance, or know of a specific one that *would* clear it (links would be appreciated)?

Reese makes a hitch extender that I'm sure would work for you.

Yeah, they might have one that goes further back before coming up. I'll have to look into it. Sucks because I already have 2 hitch bed extenders and now I might have to buy a 3rd. But, on the bright side, I could probably pay for it by selling these other 2.

I agree, so if anyone out there has (or gets) an R1T and finds a good extender that clears the tailgate, please post for us!
