Hands free / Alexa issues

Just took delivery of my R1S. Alexa doesn’t work and either does my hands free for the phone. I can make and receive calls but the person in the end can’t hear me. Anyone have a similar issue?

Sometimes when my wife drives we have to re-enable the Alexa wake word. Likely not your issue, but touch the Alexa icon in the top bar to see if the wake word needs to be enabled.

Thanks it was activated. Think it’s a microphone issue

Try a full reboot, hold left most steering wheel button plus the hazard button for 15 seconds.

I am struggling with this issue now! For me, Alexa works fine. For my Wife, her profile, Alexa almost always has to have the wake word manually enabled.
Any tips?

I am not sure why it does that. It is not like it is secure as you only have to hit enable and it works.

Unless I am missing something, it look's like only one Alexa account can be signed in and affiliated with all profiles. Only the profile that actually initiated logging in works correctly (Allows location sharing and not having to manually enable wake word). Other profile(s) are SOL.

If you can't access the Alexa app to get it setup, then it may be a corrupt module. That was my issue upon delivery last fall. There is an older thread on here about people with similar Alexa access issues.

Did that. Going on two weeks at the service center tomorrow. Getting really frustrated.
