Gift from Rivian?

It was a bit ago, but I clearly remember Rivian wanting my address when I ordered my truck so they could send me a free gift. Anybody receive this free gift? I’ve never gotten anything from Rivian. If you did, what was it? I just want to know what I’m missing out on.

Probably just the artistic Rivian photo that most got when we ordered. Nothing terribly useful or of any value.

I think some others have gotten extra stuff like water bottles or shirts, etc. Just be happy if you get a truck

I just looked at my deposit email from September 2021, and it does have a Billing address and a Gift Shipping address. I don’t remember getting anything, but wasn’t counting on anything significant either. I am not heartbroken about not receiving the picture some got.

I kinda figured most didn’t get anything and also figured whatever they might send would be probably trivial, but it does seem odd to me that they would break the first “promise“ they made to every customer. Definitely a huge swing and a miss from a marketing standpoint.

The "limited edition" rendering of the R1T is the only thing they've sent me for free in nearly four years other than the compulsion to check my email and Rivian account multiple times a day

maybe they ran out of the artwork?

Over the course of the wait from 2019 preorder to delivery in 2022 I got that R1T print posted above, a National Parks pass and some water bottles at one point.

I wonder if it still says something like that when reserving today? If it doesn’t, I wonder when it stopped. It seems very early preorders got a little token gift, but at some point they stopped without changing the website.
I guess as a shareholder it just bums me out that they would drop the ball on something this simple. It would have been far better to say nothing about a gift if that wasn’t the intention. Under promise over deliver…….not the other way.

I got the artwork which is cool. They also sent me a hat after they cancelled the rained out First Mile event (pre-Guide), and then my guide sent me water bottle that matches my color after I picked up the truck a few weeks back. But finally having the truck is the greatest gift.
