What does it mean PER ACTIVATION?

It means 2 turns and then stops tank turning. But then you have to ask how many times can you activate this and how quickly can it be activated.

From what I have seen it’s not a simple process to activate. A video exists from top gear showing how to do it. The video above details how to do it...

If we got it, people would abuse it on the offroad for sure. I can see a need for it if you get stuck somewhere, but I think it is more of a novelty.

Agreed it's a total gimmick. Even when Rivian showed it I thought it was a gimmick.

I just bought something at tractor supply and had to drive all the way down their courtyard area to pick it up. Had to back up a long way with an obscured rear view. Would have been sweet to tank turn 180° and left.

There's also a big Chinese EV SUV that has it for doing a 180 in a parking lot. Can't remember the model, but it's one of the BYD sister brands.
