First RAN charge!

Imagine if rivian builds the second most reliable network in the country. Got to hand it to them since no other car manufacturers are committed to it. VW was dragged into it and it shows but they did build out a huge network at least.

Do you have to pay for the RAN? Or just pull up and plug in? Just got our R1S and haven’t used one yet.

RAN is currently free! Drive up plug in, that’s all. It’s the only chargers I use while on trips. But I would advise checking on the app before going there. Such as, Blowing rock NC, has all 6 of there chargers down don’t know why. I plan to go that way in 2 days. Welcome to Rivian!

I've had luck reaching out to their charging service department to get information on stations that are being worked on, but they likely won't always have the information available. The last time they actually linked me up with the tech and the tech called me to tell me what was going on. I definitely wouldn't expect that as a typical experience though.
