Extension for air hose?

I occasionally have wanted to use my R1T's air compressor on things that are farther than I can reach with the hose that came with the car. (I have to back my truck right up to my wife's SUV's bumper to fill her tires, and then try to operate the air hose with the tailgate up. I cannot reach the tires on my boat trailer when the trailer is attached, but would like to.)

Is there a 10' air hose extender I could buy to make it just a little longer some of the time? What's the type of fitting called that's in the truck bed and used by the hose that attaches there?

You can use almost any pneumatic tool hose. I use the one for my compressor / brad nailer and it works fine.

One recommendation is to get a 25’ Flexzilla coiled hose (search on Amazon).

Make this your primary hose that stays with the Rivian, as it coils easier in the compartment.

Get an adapter to make the stock Rivian hose your extension that stays at home, as it’s more of a PITA to coil.

@SwampNut made a banger of a thread about a 4-tire inflation kit. The same instructions can, much more easily, be applied to making a longer air hose like what you're seeking. This is super easy, have fun!
