Experience with 22” Nitto Ridge Grapplers for R1T

Lot’s of discussions on here about 20” tire alternatives, but does anyone have experience with the 22” (285X50RX22) Nitto Ridge Grapplers on their R1T or R1S? I saw a set at the Tempe AZ service center on a R1T and I must say they looked pretty amazing! Like maybe they are bridging the gap between mild off-road use and basic hwy/street use? It would be great to get some feedback regarding the difference in size, ride, any loss of range, and road noise at hwy speeds, etc.

I have them. They came when I bought the R1T used. They look great. Cost is crazy high, I’ll need to replace them next year. The road noise isn’t bad, the issue is the wind coming front the windows. Range is good. I’ve gone to Vegas and stop at the RAN in Barstow not too much as far as impacting my range. I have not taken them off road. Mostly city and hwy Driving. Also mine are 295/50r22

Thanks for sharing your experience. However, I’m confused as to how the tires affects the window wind noise?

I can’t tell if the tires are noisy due to the wind noise from the windows. Coming from a Lexus the Rivian is very noisy due to the poor insulation around the windows.

Ah... gotcha. I must say that they do look good on your truck!
I’m hoping some others have experience with this tire set up and can share their impressions/experience as well.

The Bridgestones don’t look too bad but, as others have said in the past, their load capacity is suspect at only 115 vs 116.
