I've always had a heavy foot and, obviously, LOVE the acceleration of the Rivian. My MIL has made multiple comments about my speed while driving so I played a little prank on her one time while we were in a rental car in Phoenix...

The car had a toggle to switch from imperial to metric. She was in the passenger seat next to me and I flipped to metric.

Sure enough, she soon asked: "Kev - are we really doing 110?"

I replied: "Yes - I'm just trying to keep up with traffic...Look - two people just passed me."

My wife, from the back seat, then ruined it by assuring her mother that I was definitely NOT doing 110 in a 65 zone.

They didn’t reset the VIN going from 2022 into 2023, assumed they continued to go up sequentially. Is that not the case?

The Gen1 Quad loaner I got was flawless, drove well and a rocket. I floored it and my wife yelled at me for an hour.

Knowing who to punch it with is just as important as knowing who not to punch it with. I learned this concept the hard way. An older relative was in the back seat of my old ICE vehicle when I floored it. Since that day, I make everyone sit on waterproof seat covers.
