I agree with all and have been asking for these things for several years. I would like to see at least 4 trip odometer.

The main always on display also needs a "this trip" odometer showing time elapsed and distance for only your current trip. It would reset every time you park and turn off the vehicle. Every other vehicle I drove til I got this Rivian had this option. Oddly, Rivian is the least tech laden when it comes to the common sense stuff people actually use. It truly is odd. And even more odd they have gone so long without any improvement to the UI whatsoever.

I feel like an idiot but it took me a month to realize that I could change the drivers display layout to show navigation, tire pressure or efficiency next to the speedometor.
Anyone else not realize this?? Mine was on tire pressure for the first month.

Rivian wastes about 20% of the drivers-screen display with cartoon depictions of the approximate location of the vehicles whose location we can see more accurately through the windshield. The blind-spot warnings are appropriate in the drivers display, but I haven't heard of a single owner who likes Rivian's display of the traffic ahead of them. That is wasted real estate -- put it to use!
I absolutely disagree with this point. I think the digital rendering of the environment the car sees is one of the coolest features of this technically advanced vehicle! I wish Rivian would give us the option to put it on the main screen just like Tesla does. Eventually I would like to see Rivian implement a much more robust autopilot system on both city streets and highway that comes complete with a much larger digital environment display.

I’m with you on liking the animation of the vehicles around you. It’s another safety aspect knowing if vehicles are next to you or coming up on either side.

Lots of preferences. I'm glad @bender and @IrishNole find that part of the display useful. I think the recent introduction of the blind spot camera was a step forward.

Best to all!

On a related note, I was always grumbling that Rivian didn't have a way to make phone calls from the screen like the Tesla does. Realized it is there after all, you can swipe up to expand the dock to show more apps from the bottom. I found Camp Mode from there too!
funny you should say that, but was going to ask, how do I send a text/make or answer a call?
