I dropped my truck off Monday (1/12) for a service appointment in ATL to get the HVAC case replaced again (drain leaking onto the front floor boards again! Thread link) and I added a creaking noise on the driver door when you open it to to be checked out; sound seemed to be coming from the door check strap for a few months now. Here is an observation video of the door strap...
I got a call yesterday from the service center with an update for the appointment, the HVAC case had been successfully replaced but, they were waiting on a new driver door to come in! I was taken by surprise at this statement. They said upon further investigation, they discovered the inner part of the door was separating and it needed to be replaced...
I'm curious if anyone else had doors replaced for them separating...?
