If you’re worried about giving Rivian your money a few days or a couple of weeks before the truck arrives, arrange financing through Rivian. At least for me, they started the loan the day of delivery. Then, once loan is established, your truck is delivered, and Chase sends your the initial account statement (about a week later), you can take a check to your local Chase bank and pay off the loan.
