Disable "Entrapment Button Not Working" warning

Hi - I have been getting this warning now for a week, and it goes off sometimes every 10-15 seconds as I drive. I get it, I need to have it checked, but in the meantime is there a way to disable it? The warning is coming from the passenger gear tunnel.

The plastic trim around the button is probably loose - there have been multiple reports of that being the cause, although I haven't seen anyone mention this problem this year. Just snap the trim back in place and it should fix the problem.

I'm also having this issue on the driver side gear tunnel. Had it last year and it stopped so I withdrew the ticket. It came back when the summer heat returned. Seems to be aggravated by heat and road vibration. I just resubmitted the ticket yesterday. Initially I didn't spot any physical issue with the button and it operated fine. I'll take a closer look at the trim tonight. Thanks for the tip! @VSG .

I had this, and the mobile tech came out and messed around in it and resolved the issue. It happened for me on bumpy roads, but cleared if I locked and unlocked the car (which was good, because otherwise I couldn't open the tunnel from the exterior buttons... )
He said it was a loose connection behind the button, so it needed to be removed, reseated, and put back in. Pretty simple, but more than I'd want to do without knowing what I was digging into.
