Because launch green is a limited run, does anyone have concerns that if this color gets scratched or dinged it may be difficult to color match the repair?

No, because all colors are launch green.

I haven't chosen and doubt I will choose launch green, but this does seem like a legitimate concern.

Just put some forest green touch up paint on it. Apparently they are so close that people can’t tell the difference. :CWL:

No concerns. There will be a paint code and it’s pretty easy to match paint.

^^^This. Even without a paint code, a good body shop (or their distributor) should have a spectrophotometer that they can use on a sample of the paint to determine its precise formulation. Sherwin-Williams has one for house interior and exterior colors - I’ve had them use that method several times and they’ve been spot on mixing a custom color.
