Demo Purchase Issue

I just finished uploading all the required info (insurance, DL photos...) and the website said my order was good to go. About half an hour later, I got an email saying my appointment to pick up my R1T was canceled. When I logged back into the system, all the items I had uploaded were gone, and it went back to the first screen where I'd made the deposit, but didn't have any of the other information. My pick up appointment is Monday, June 10th, so I'm hoping they'll get everything straightened out. My Rivian guide is looking into the situation. Has anyone had anything similar happen?

The sales experience is a hot mess. You have to do all your paperwork the day before by midnight to pick up the next day. I received the link to review/sign the lease at 10:45pm. I had called them several times with no response, but once they sent the link they were texting me to rush through it.

Similar issue, sales guy went on vacation and the guide really wasn't helpful. Drive to the local SC and they helped out and contacted the guide....Rivian is creating terrible initial customer experiences. The manager of the local SC went above and beyond..he let me know what he can't help with and asked for 4 hrs to get in touch with people...at the end he didn't have final say but was able to help sort things out and got everything taken care of....biggest issue is the sales person wasn't clear on a few items...biggest one was yes we can switch from bright to dark wheels when it arrives no issues...needless to say I was told they need to cancel my VIN and start a new process...

? What a trainwreck! I actually drove to the SC and talked to someone in person bc I could never get a straight answer on if my R1T had arrived. Got an appointment for the next day after stopping by. It finally all worked out and the truck is amazing!!!

Glad it worked out very happy with the vehicle my local SC is great manager followed up on everything he said...
