Delivery day question

I’m currently waiting for my R1T. I ordered a standard+ so should hopefully be able to pick up this month. I am leasing with a co-signer. I was wondering on delivery day, does anyone know of any paperwork needs to be signed when picking up the truck ? My co-signer will be out of town so I’m trying to figure out how to do this if they need to be there.

There were two or three docs that needed to be signed at delivery IIRC, my delivery was 14 months ago so I don't really remember what the forms were. My delivery agent was a notary so he took care of the doc that needed to be notarized too.

I'd call Rivian CS and discuss your situation with them well before the day arrives.

There were a couple docs to be signed for a purchase - not sure what they ask for with a lease. I would check in with Rivian CS to see if there is a way for that stuff to be handled in advance.

From my delivery appointment confirmation message (in October 2023):

Please bring the following to your delivery appointment:

• All registrants must be present along with their valid driver’s licenses
  • If you have a co-registrant, please ensure they are at the delivery appointment as well
• Certified check made out to Rivian if paying with check (in select states)
• If you’re trading in a vehicle, the vehicle, title, and all keys and accessories
  • Please remove all personal belongings ahead of time!
• Your phone with the Rivian app downloaded

I guess when it gets closer I should ask guide what happens if co registrant can’t be there, I’m sure can be done virtually as well.

Can I ask a question, when you had a co-signer on your lease did they end up on the registration as well? Because of NY I have to have my co-registrant on my insurance which is impossible. Im not sure why they cant just leave my co-signer off the registration. Just curious what the process was for you.
