DCFC Stops After 4 min.

I’ve been on a family road trip the last few weeks. As a result I have been using DC fast chargers more than usual.

3 out of my last 5 DCFC sessions have stopped after about 4 min. No errors on the charger or the vehicle. It just acts as if charging has finished, when in fact it is still well below the % threshold. Each time I have to unplug, plug back in, restart charging, and then it works fine.

This has happened on three different charging networks (RAN, EV Rang, and EVGo).

I created a service ticket and have a service appointment scheduled. Of course the SSF service center is so backed up that the appointment is in October. I’m kind of hoping this is a software bug that will be resolved before then.

Anyone else experiencing this problem?

I’ve had that exact issue one time while at EA charger, the other time my speeds were limited to 100kw.
Is one of your DC pins looks bent like this btw:

My DC pins look fine. If it were a physical connection issue I would expect the problem to be more consistent.

Nope. I was expecting that suggestion from the rep that responded to my service ticket. But they did not ask me to.

I was planning to try that out if it happens again.

Mostly I was just curious if anyone else has had this problem. Sounds like the answer is no. So, maybe not a software bug after all.
