Cybertruck isn't going to be sold at anywhere near the original prices. Dual motor will probably be around 80k, and they'll release a plaid quad motor that will be over 100k.

Elon won't send out an email either way, good or bad.

Communication with Tesla is NO better and IMHO (based on a buyback fiasco with my wifes Model Y) is worse that any company I have dealt with.

They increased the price on my Model Y, bought back the original defective car and offered to let me pay the increased price. Zero considerations for the months of a non functional car.

No he'll tweet about it and get investigated by the SEC 4 months later.

Isn't there a lemon law? They need to replace a defective vehicle? (I'm assuming they would be liable otherwise it's a lawsuit?)

Yes,
The lemon law allows them to buy back a vehicle at the price you paid. It does not take into account that replacing a current model year vehicle could add $3000 plus tax to the cost.

So, Tesla caused amazing constant aggravation over the course of 4 months - 5 different rental cars and then to pour salt in -made us pay $3000 more for a new vehicle.

The service manager helped us get closer to 'whole' but Tesla did not care at all.

I personally think the long bed was a mistake that makes the proportions super awkward, especially since they shortened the tailgate. Could be the lighting, but also weird how the stainless finish looks markedly different on the two doors.

I will never understand this truck. It's flat out hideous.
Quite literally. But lots of people like ugly things, and I bet the aftermarket for these things will be massive. Super easy to wrap I bet too. Watch out for Hello Kitty wrap... should be pretty sweet. :D
