Custom Fit R1T Bedliner

I purchased the USA made Black Armour 1/2” thick mat about a month ago and decided to modify it this weekend. It’s a fairly easy weekend project using common hand tools. Follow the old adage to “measure 2 twice and cut once”

As a bonus your left with a 31” x 60” leftover section. I repurposed the mat and placed it in front of our washer/dryer in the garage.

Black Armour makes a quality 1/2” thick rubber mat. I know their are R1T specific rubber bed mats on the market but none are this thick and HD. If you have the time to modify the mat for your R1T this is the one to purchase. Here is the link…

You're welcome. The only downside to this mat is the weight and access to the spare tire area. But I'm not in there every day and when I do want access I either yank it out quick or I actually roll it towards the front. Works.

Sounds like you're getting the truck soon? Let's hope!

Accessing the spare tire will be a rare event. I'll just roll it up.

My R1T supposedly has been shipped, now I'm in wait mode.

one bonus to the full size mat I can see is that if you haul dirt or anything, it REALLY gets down into the cracks and crevices of the bed, even wrapping with a tarp it got some outside the tarp (loading with a front loader isn't clean or precise...) and it was still a pita to keep clean. I don't think I'll go with this, as I just got a cooler that *BARELY* fits under the tonneau, so taking up 1/2" on top of the ridges isn't going to work for me, but I might see if someone sells a 1/8" or something that would lay down in the grooves to form-fit a little better...

Welcome. Someone on here is manufacturing a form fitted liner. Either it's available now or will be soon. Search it out, looked really nice. Could be what you need.

I had seen that one, but forgot about it! Still says "s00n" but I'll try to keep an eye on it for when they do release!

I have the Best EV Mod one - it's awesome. I have tried four different ones at this point, and it's by far my favorite one. Form fitting, not too thick, not too thin, and it contours to the ridges in the bed so it lays flush.
