Rivian doesn't seem to publish local numbers for the SC and funnels everything into their call center. I've had repeated talks with the east coast team where they have said the Bellevue SC would reach out with nothing...

Anyways, going in on Friday for my first round of repairs, and will let everyone know if they do a good job.

- DC Fast Charger does not work anywhere
- Misaligned door
- Rattle on interior of said door

I was there recently, just looking around and the service manager was really helpful and there seemed to be lots of activity, so hopefully a poor routing experience but a good service experience based on the conversation I had.

Best of luck.

I think I just hit my two month mark of having my R1T. Glad I haven't had to visit at all in my 5k miles so far.

Dropped the truck off on Friday and it was a great experience. So far they’ve called each day with an update. Unfortunately the update has been “no update yet” but I appreciate how communicative they have been.

12 days later, I went to go pick up my vehicle.

They fixed the DC charging issue. They also aligned the door better but it’s still not perfect.

They claimed the wireless pad was fine, but couldn’t demonstrate it working on any phones. It’s not fine.

They claimed they couldn’t reproduce the rattle. I took a tech with me and we heard the rattle.

I left the truck with them. What a waste of my time. They were also oddly defensive and trying to say that these rattles are just as designed… my daughters $18k Hyundai rattles less.

I’m disappointed that they don’t appear to be putting a lot of effort into diagnosis and seem to be trying to optimize for just getting trucks out as fast as possible.

oh man, this data point doesn't bode well for us R1 owners/order holders in the Seattle/Eastside area.

Rattles are not covered by the warranty.

I'm surprised they won't work with you on the rattles. I've had warranty coverage from both Ford and Chevrolet due to rattling. On my Mustang I even went on a test drive with a tech who hooked up "chassis ears" to the vehicle to isolate a rattle and fix it under warranty.

They will, they just don’t want to. I’m very unimpressed with their techs. Everyone
Is new and inexperienced.

The Bellevue on this coast has been more than great...Did a great job on the wiring issue covered in the service advisory; this was back in April, long before it was announced. Also sent a mobile unit out the fix a proximity sensor issue. The tech who came out really seemed to know his stuff, used to be a BMW tech. So, YMMV...

Got the truck back today.

The rattle is reduced but not gone. I’ll just live with it.

Rattles are indeed covered. I've had two things come loose on trails over the past 2 months. Both got dealt with. I've had poor alignment and a off center steering wheel since March. Taken it in with little to no success. They've claimed to have done the alignment, but can not present a spec sheet. For myself this has caused abnormal tire wear. The RPAs are still trying to find a fix 6 months later.

My biggest issue is when it comes to serious issues is the sheer lack of not caring out of Bellevue...

A “as designed” rattle and a “oh shit this panel is completely loose” rattle is the difference.

Since I’ve picked up the truck the other back door is now rattling bad, like a can of angry bees in both doors.

My alignment is also terrible.

It’s a shame that these quality issues are ruining an otherwise amazing truck.

I need to setup another service appointment since the frunk now requires you to push it closed manually, and all ask them to fix everything once again.
