  1. Gap on Passenger A-Pillar Interior Liner

That recall is for the c pillar, they remove the top clips so that the side airbags deploy easier.
  2. New Software Update: 2023.10.02 Just Got Pushed OTA

Came here looking for this. The new speed is so slow I thought something had broken. Glad itā€™s not just me.
  3. A/C not blowing cold air?

Exact same issue. They just replaced my condenser.
  4. Meet-and-greet (Bellevue, WA) - October 22 - SEE NEW POSTS!

I was tooling around up there last weekend. Be warned that greenwater is very remote and it takes a while to get back to civilization. We might show. On charging, the elevation to get up there soaks up a lot. I was at 85% when I left Issaquah and 60% when I hit the exit for Stampede pass.
  5. First 10 mins after delivery .... "Critical Battery Issue"

About 5 years ago I purchased a jaguar and it popped the engine when the crew was pulling it out of the garage and into the detail bay. They apologized profusely, refused to sell me the car and redid the paperwork for a new VIN. This is what Rivian should be doing for these ā€œpulled out of the...
  6. ChargePoint charging max 50kwh on my app, but it's a 150kwh station

The max amps setting in your truck is only when doing AC charging. This is a DC charger. Youā€™ll noticed the bigger plug with the DC pins.
  7. Passenger side lower than driver side.

Itā€™s weird that itā€™s always the right front. Iā€™ve noticed that mine pulls to the right when itā€™s decided itā€™s going to sag that side.
  8. Bellevue Service Center Responsiveness

A ā€œas designedā€ rattle and a ā€œoh shit this panel is completely looseā€ rattle is the difference. Since Iā€™ve picked up the truck the other back door is now rattling bad, like a can of angry bees in both doors. My alignment is also terrible. Itā€™s a shame that these quality issues are ruining an...
  9. lvl 2 to 100% vs DCFC - what's better for long term battery health?

On a purely thermal management basis, dumping 11kw into a battery vs dumping 150kw doesnā€™t need a scientific study to validate :) itā€™s amazing when you think about it. A single DCFS is putting the peak consumption of an entire street into your car.
  10. lvl 2 to 100% vs DCFC - what's better for long term battery health?

At 11.5kwh, I just set it to hit 100 and go to bed. Hasnā€™t failed me yet. I donā€™t do scheduled Charging though because my PNW power is cheap all the time.
  11. lvl 2 to 100% vs DCFC - what's better for long term battery health?

Level 2 to 100% is totally fine for the occasional road trip. DCFS is much much harder on the battery than that.
  12. Show off your Level 2 Home Charger installs here

You can check what temperatures a product is rated for. In this case ChargePoint says ā€œFor charging stations set to 16-48 A, the range is -40 ĢŠF to 122 ĢŠF (-40 ĢŠC to 50 ĢŠC). For charging stations set to 50 A, the range is -40 ĢŠ to 113 ĢŠF (-40 to 45 ĢŠC).ā€ My climate has mild winters.
  13. Show off your Level 2 Home Charger installs here

ChargePoint Flex. Rear knockout hardwired. The holster and hook already mounted was from a previous setup for my polestar that wasnā€™t using a wall mount EVSE.
  14. Charge door behavior

Isnā€™t it just a worm gear? No pushing or pulling.
  15. Chargepoint

my advice is you do some research and learn the difference between a L2 6kw station and a L3 station.
  16. Chargepoint

This is not a helpful post. What size circuit is it on? What size wire gauge. Did you configure it correctly on initial setup? Do you get a full 240 volts and not 209? Iā€™m getting 11.5kw on a dedicated 60amp circuit I installed myself.
  17. Anyone else getting bugged by Rivian about “underbody” inspection needed?

What kind of road is crowned towards the center. I swear rivian techs will make up any story to avoid owning that their vehicles wander badly left or right.
  18. Service Process Needs A LOT Of Work

I had a similar experience at the same SC. The advisor Micheal is apologetic and communicative but the rest of the staff was rude. Their unwillingness to fix things on the truck has me seriously contemplating selling it.
