Looks like the Bucees in Johnstown along I-25 is scheduled to open on March 18.

In the announcement it also says 12 EV chargers will be available, which I don’t recall seeing mentioned prior to now. To my knowledge the only EV charging partner Bucees has is Mercedes Benz although they aren’t mentioned at all. I live about 10 minutes from there in Loveland so I will be sure to check it out soon.

I have also seen that during my own travels, but last year they announced this new partnership with MB so I assumed this would be part of that since it sounds like they expect to add 30 MB stations in 2024 and this is a brand new travel center. It is odd there is no mention of the chargers other than how many ?‍

Thank you! I looked on Plugshare to see if there was anything mapped there yet but didn't even think to specifically search Tesla with the location. I wonder if those will be magic dock chargers? I can't tell the difference from the regular superchargers at first glance.

The Rivian wave is alive and well in Monument.
Twice yesterday I shared the wave in old town Monument with a Forest Green R1T, then later in the day a Forest Green R1S.
This tells me 2 things. First, the Rivian family is friendly, and second, Rivian owners in Monument have the best taste in colors.

Seems Monument is friendlier than south Denver. Maybe because we have so many, but I'm waving and rarely get an acknowledgement. Come on Denver, it's not like my CY is camouflaged....

I used to get Rivian waves in the beginning. I really don't get any waves anymore, I would say 1-2 in 10 wave back. Bummer.

A couple weeks ago a very nice person in a White R1T actually did the "wink" as I turned past them through an intersection. Because I had to pay attention to what I was doing all I could muster was a half assed wave back. But it was still a nice surprise!
