Fun times this morning at Cars and Coffee in Lafayette. Nice to meet new people. I think we had over 20 EVs today and 4 of those were Rivians. Surprisingly, there were two Fiskers. More pictures at my instagram..

Thanks for posting! I don't do the Facebook thing, but signed up for RMRC through the website. I don't see this event on the website.

Took a drive over Marshall Pass today. Leaves were peaking nicely. R1S is such a nice ride compared to my ‘19 Tundra up their last fall.

Kremmling Tesla MagicDock working like a charm…off to fish the mighty Colorado!
So cool to see a Rivian charging at a Tesla supercharging station. Love this!

Same. not sure if I would or wouldn't make it anyway, but definitely not if it only gets posted on Facebook...

This is really an asset to the CO charging network. Plugs such an important hole between Denver and Steamboat.
Agree!!! It says I can make it to Kremmling from my home with about 45% SoC, so this would be a perfect stop on the way to and from Steamboat.

Great news and glad to see more widespread installations.
Also good that you pointed out you were going fishing, otherwise I would have questioned your choice of church attire. ?

it’s unfortunate that we (and many other EVs) will be blocking two spots (for Teslas anyway) when charging, but that’s probably why they seem to be putting these docks on chargers that aren’t very high use.

Also, seems like the cable may be long enough to at least slide the truck over half a spot if needed, though not sure if that would be enough to slide a Tesla in for a charge next to it. Or maybe if there’s room on the end charger to pull in sideways (would look odd) but could potentially keep the other spots open for anyone ? I’m thinking way too deep into this, probably since I’m a former Tesla owner ?

It certainly is a bit odd taking up two spaces essentially. (I don’t see any other way around that currently, unless the site has a towing pull-thru you want to block). The entire time I was in Kremmling, there was not one other vehicle that showed up. (Tesla included). FYI it costs $.50 per kWh after tax. ($28 for 56kWh)

It looks like you're only taking up 1 spot to me :) I could back my id4 into the next spot & use the next charger.
I assume you need an account with Tesla? Did the charger connect easily?

Well yes and no as far as spaces go. I’m not blocking the spot on my driver’s side for a non-Tesla, but I am taking up 2 spots for a Tesla due to charge port location in rear passenger. Yes you just download the Tesla app and create an account/add credit card. You select the “charge a non-Tesla” option and follow the prompts. Super easy. At $.50 per kWh, if you own an ICE truck/suv getting around 17mpg, I’d say this charge is about the equivalent of paying $4.20 per gallon of gas. +\-
