Cold weather causing new issues?

Hey everyone,
So we have been having really cold weather here in MD. Its been in the lower teens to high twenties here lately. I have noticed that when im driving on the highway, all of the sensors will atop working, the dash will have a couple warning lights, and some features will completely stop working such as adaptive high beam, no vehicle visualization in the dash, no blind spot detection.

When this happens a restart will fix it but its very inconvenient on longer drives. I usually will hold the username down to capture a system diagnostic. Does anyone know if that gets uploaded to rivian or if it just stays on the car until a tech looks at it?

There was a recall for the adaptive headlights related to cold weather. Did you have that performed yet?

Man reading these threads lately of issues people are having I am glad I am not in that boat. Mine is all good, no issues, no software bugs, runs amazing

I believe those captured logs stay on the vehicle, but I could be wrong. IMO if this has happened more than twice you should schedule an appointment to get it checked out.

Cold weather does funny things to these vehicles. Inconsistent & annoying are two best adjectives. The diagnostic capture just stays in the vehicle; not sent to Rivian. Make an appt, take pictures & videos of issues before going in. I've never had the diagnostic capture mean much at SC.
BTW, I wish that is the temp we have been having in Central Illinois. Warming up now though!

We're coming out of a -15 F period, and I didn't have any of those issues with my R1T. I'd suggest scheduling service to get it looked at.

Might sound basic but did you check your sensors / bumpers & windshield? - if there's been a ton of salt, could it be that simple?

I used to get driver aid errors on my ICE cars every winter as well just because of residue build up.

There is salt on the car. Im going to get it cleaned today and test later. Still going to have it checked out
