Charging indicator light?

First time charging the Rivian. There is no light bar on the cars headlights that indicates charging. Is there supposed to be?

It only lights up when the vehicle is unlocked. Also you have to go into settings to turn it on. Check there to see if it’s selected.

Yeah it’s locked outside. I’m running the wire underneath the garage door. Hopefully it won’t do anything to compromise the cable. I heard lots of owners do this.

My Rivian app shows it’s offline (red cloud icon) for some reason so I can’t monitor the charging. It was working a few minutes ago. Wonder what happened?

I’ve been running my cable under the garage door for 6 + months now. You should be fine. It’s rare that my Rivian is parked inside the garage.

I’ve been running my cable under the garage door for 6 + months now. You should be fine. It’s rare that my Rivian is parked inside the garage.

Another anecdote - 10 years regularly under the garage door with my ClipperCreek HCS40 through multiple EVs.
