Cell phone mount

Just watched a YouTube video Here and he had a neat phone mount from a company called Riviparts. I might try this out when I Take delivery of my truck

I have this mount and the designer is on the forums @RWerksman. It is a clever design and likely the best we can expect from a 3d printer. The only drawback is the steering wheel blocks a good portion of the screen. I am hopeful that ProClip will create a mount that uses the same location, but includes a cantilever to place the phone above the steering wheel, and possibly a little to the right. Until then, the Riviparts mount is a huge upgrade over the useless charging pad and indentation that Rivian provided.

I use Quadlock on my bikes and other cars so naturally I have their suction cup wireless charging base in the lower left corner of my windshield...

I contacted Proclip about it a while back. They said they'd need someone's R1T for 2-3 days to make a prototype. They're in Madison WI so if someone is willing to. ... They definitely make the best mounts.

A couple of approaches to the charging pad and phone mount problems. Glued a couple of rubber strips to hold the phone on the charging pad if I want to use the charging pad or charge an extra phone. Installed a Lamicoll mount with charging cable if I want to use the phone.

This company is doing a joint venture with peak design (camera accessory company I'm in love with) for phone mounts, they have a specialized might for a lot of SUV but not Rivian(yet) I've printed the ball mount front above and think it'll be compatible with these if anyone else is interested. See my other post but I had to made a 20mm ball for the mount for Peak/OffRoam due to incompatibility with the 1inch and 17mm ball from Riviparts. Free print here

Instagram tried to sell me this water bottle with a phone mount on the top. Kind of a silly/niche product but has potential to be an excellent R1 phone mount for casual use. Ringo bottle.

iphone 8 user here...for persepective, but I had the ball mount from one of the vendors on here, but couldn't find a mount a mechanism to pivot the mount so that it was more visible from around the steering wheel.
