Canadian delivery timeframe

There are a lot delivered to customers outside the GVRD. We had to go to Vancouver to pick up - yes. There are folks with Rivians in the interior, sunshine coast and on Vancouver Island. Rivian is doing mobile service for us.

How many hours from the Vancouver Service Center was your listed address? I'm having difficulty getting delivery 4 hours from Vancouver.

I'm in Victoria. So technically 2. But it's a ferry so we all know that means 3+

Hopefully Rivians will be delivered in full swing soon, seeing more and more as time goes on and a number of them coming in for their clear bra paint protection film or ceramic coatings etc...

Went from Oct-Dec to "processing estimate" overnight (I had checked yesterday), hopefully just the prep for the update in 10 days.

Yep same here. Went from 'Jan - June 24' to ' Processing'

Some good news, Rivian hiring technicians and service managers in Toronto and Calgary.

On August 4th I swapped wheels to the 20" option from the 22"s because of the January-March delivery window thinking of the 3 peak all weather tires. I figured logistically this was smarter than getting a dedicated winter set ready during a long delivery window. My reservation has shown Pending ever since but it looks like I may not have shot myself in the foot based on what others are sharing.

Just got the three month delivery window update email.

Feb-March 2024 from Jan-March in Calgary. I guess I can be happy the window is tightening

Mine just got bumped ahead. Although I could technically get a non-maxpack R1 soon, I'll still wait. I went from oct/dec 23 to Dec 23/Jan24

Well, I'm glad to see others getting some improvements in the order timeframes. Me, on the other hand, just went from Oct-Dec 23 to Apr-Jun 24 - another 6 month delay.

At this point they need to change the plug to Tesla in order for me to take it. I'm not against Rivian, but seeing the added delays just makes me mull over options.

Quebec here. Just pushed back from oct-dec 23 to april-june 24.

The cynic in me is saying they simply forgot to add a delay to Calgary and will add one at the next update in October. Would be such a Rivian thing to do, because its fucking weird Ontario is getting pushed when it's further along in development than Calgary.
