Camping auto level got stuck in infinite loop

Has anyone used the camping mode and got stuck in infinite loop? I went camping over the weekend and once I got to my camping site I activated the camping auto level feature. The display says "leveling..." and I waited 15 mintues and it still says "leveling..." I finally had to cancel out of it. I tried 3 times and the same thing happened. Any suggestion on what I am doing wrong?

Auto level is awesome, especially with a RTT.

It is quick when your site is fairly level already, and it takes much longer the more slope you have. In my experience it tells you when it is unable to complete the leveling because there is too much slope, but it can take a long time to get there.

Also, I wouldn't start out in lowest height or highest height - use standard mode so leveling can raise and/or lower all corners as needed.

Did you try it out at home first? I don't know how new your R1T is, but it's possible that you have a small suspension leak - that would usually show up very early on in your ownership if it was an initial quality problem.

Mostly agree with what @VSG said. I do often start in lowest or low though to make it a little easier on my dog jumping up into the bed and that hasn't caused any issues on my end.

One word of warning, repeated attempts at leveling are likely to overheat the compressor. So I would avoid that if possible. Also stay away from kneel mode if you are offroad or using camp mode as that is just going to stress it even more.

I found that the pitch and roll widgets are helpful to start
