What are you doing differently from everyone else to keep it from failing? Keeping it clean and lubed? Is there an adjustment that helps prolong failure? Or are you just crossing your fingers?
Have never lubed it. The only cleaning is standard car-washing. Other than when I've gotten gravel and bark dust stuck in it and had to actually use a broom to get it out. (One panel has a nasty scratch now from gravel getting caught between panels as it retracted.)

I was being gentle with it for the first year - rarely retracted it, and when I did, I'd make sure to lift on the last panel as it went in to make sure it didn't get caught, or stopped it before the last panel would go in. But once they started doing the replacements, I've treated it as I would expect to treat a tonneau - no babying at all. At this point, I'm basically daring it to fail. Use it often, zero maintenance.
