So I can get it to connect to my phone via Bluetooth but should it connect to the truck and play whatever the center screen is playing?

if so, how?

I think we all wished the camp speaker worked that way but it sadly doesn't. Probably just for licensing/DRM reasons.

ok that’s all good. Just didn’t want to keep tinkering with it if it won’t do it.

We have never gotten our Camp speaker to work at all. Rivian did about as good with the Camp Speaker as they did with the Motorized Tonneau Cover.

It’s wonky especially first couple uses but it sounds very good and has come in handy a couple times in my two month ownership.

I really like the speaker. I often use it in my kitchen when making dinner or by the grill when cooking outside.

Well, my powered tonneau still works perfectly.

My camp speaker did stop charging and I had to get it replaced, but other than not holding a charge, it worked fine until that happened and the replacement has worked perfectly since.

Is there a way to check the status of the charge?

Well, my powered tonneau still works perfectly.
I wonder what percent of powered tonneau covers are still functioning perfectly?

Will Rivian still fix them under warranty if they break?

At this point, they'll replace it with the V2. I think I'll keep using mine until it breaks, rather than proactively get the V2, just to see how long I can make the original last.

What are you doing differently from everyone else to keep it from failing? Keeping it clean and lubed? Is there an adjustment that helps prolong failure? Or are you just crossing your fingers?

Mine still works fine - albeit it's been noisy from day one. I probably average an open/close cycle 2-3 times a month and have done nothing but wipe down the track every few months to get the bulk of the dust/dirt out.

While within warranty, why wouldn’t they? Whether they can get you in in a timely manner is the challenge.
