Bluetooth microphone unusable in 47.01

Polling to see if it’s just me…(yes I’m still waiting for latest update)…

Problem: Bluetooth calls/voice to text (microphone only) very broken to other end but BT audio (calls and music) fine on my end. CarPlay (via @EV Sportline display) Siri picks up only every other word if that but was fine prior to 47.01. Voice to text directly on my iPhone 16 Pro iOS18.3 (now) works as normal.

Troubleshooting: Info/full resets, unpair/pair to both the EV sportsline and R1S, turned off Sportline display (isolated to R1S) and no change.

Waiting for recent update but in the meantime was checking to see if anyone else had it happen.

hmmm, havent heard of this. I will share, 99% of issues we encounter relate to the user's phone and /or their confusion about setting up carplay.

Best to unplug (no power) our screen...and make sure bluetooth and the car/phone interface are working flawless first. Once that's clear, you could setup carplay. Most of the time, customers that had issues realizes they still have issues even with our device powered off.

More issues with android too, maybe because it's a wide range of phones?

I am having the exact same issue! I have an iPhone 16 Pro and I think this has been happening since I updated to 24.51.02. Anyone have a fix for this? The other day, someone told me my phone sounded absolutely awful, so I went ahead and left myself a voicemail on a different phone, and I couldn’t even understand what I was saying.
