Is this normal? Third row seat belt buckle indenting seat cushion

Noticed whenever I put down third row seats it leaves this indent. I've been keeping them up to avoid making it permanent. When I manually push the buckles down, one stays in place and the other pops up, thus inevitably leaving the mark. Is this normal or can it be fixed?

Ok good to know. So in your R1S do both buckles stay down or pop up? Seemed odd that each of mine behaves differently.

if its designed to stay down, it should stay down. id open a service ticket if it bothers you. they should be able to adjust it.
