No More Pelican Cases for LE holders

I was just told by my guide that the wristband won't be sent out in a Pelican case anymore or for anyone going forward with a Launch Edition. A little sad since I got my truck before some influencers, and they all got their Pelican cases with or without the wristband. A minor thing, but I thought people with Launch Edition orders may want to know

I got a wristband, but no Pelican case. I actually found it under the driver's seat after delivery!

Yeah this has been discussed, many early deliveries didn’t get the case, me included.

I did get my wristband from service.

I think this is fine. Most people would just put it in the garage and never see it again. Reducing the $20 cost for that one thing seems an easy way to reduce costs and waste.

I got a call from CS a week or two after my delivery confirming IOUs on behalf of Rivian. They will be delivered once the functionality to add the key to your vehicle is able to be done from the app. Wristbands will be late summer/ early fall I believe.
