battery charging - optimal

I set my battery to stop at 80% when charging. I try to get in a habit to charge whenever it goes to 20-25% (usually under 100 miles left) and not charge everyday. This only gives me 60% of the total 135 kWh capacity which is not a lot. Will it kill the battery if I charge it frequently, when its at halfway 50% to the 80%?

80% max great; all else nothing to fret about*.

*don’t run it to zero

Your better off leaving it plugged in when its not in use. Set a daily charge rate of 70% and leave it plugged in. If you need more range set it at 80-85%.

I use to charge my Tesla to 90% I'm charging the R1S to 80%. Would it really affect the battery long term to charge to 85 or 90% all the time? Otherwise seems like I have to plug it in everday.
