Back Seat Carpet Tear

Just wanted to post to see if anyone has experienced this. I was loading a sofa in a box to my R1S with all the seats folded down and was pushing from the back to front when I noticed that the carpet on the back of the seat had completely torn. This was a standard cardboard box with tape in the corners but no sharp edges. I also noticed that the carpet is extremely thin. I was wondering if anyone else had experienced this and if this might be warranty worthy????

Can you share a picture? I’m sorry that happened. It’s unlikely to be covered by warranty unless you can show the carpet was defective leading to the tear. Maybe others have seen similar, but none that I recall. A good PSA to others to protect your seat backs.
